Wish-List From a Woman Business Traveler

A woman business traveler is a whole ’nother breed,

We want to travel hassle-free, light-weight, and safe indeed.

Alone in our hotel rooms - we’d like to dine out more,

But as a single female - we don’t venture out the door.

We long for real hangers that have clips to hang our skirts,

And we appreciate an ironing board so we can iron our shirts.

We like in-room hot water with sweetener and herbal tea,

But many times all we get is sugar and coffee or caffeine-free.

We’d like it if our rooms weren’t blurted out for all the lobby to hear,

So we would feel the security that no one knows we’re here.

We like the treadmills, hot-tubs, and a pleasant fitness place to enter,

So when we’re stressed-out just like men, we can come on back to center.

We enjoy the life of travel and a chance to see the globe,

But we love to come back home sometimes just to kick back in our robe.
